Industry-Recognized Certifications
Certifications are a core part of the iCSI experience — not an add-on.
Students work toward nationally recognized, industry-aligned certifications while still in high school. These credentials validate real skills, strengthen college applications, and prepare students for future coursework or entry-level roles in technology.
Why Certifications Matter
Industry certifications show that a student can apply what they’ve learned — not just pass a class.
For students, certifications build confidence and credibility. For parents, they represent measurable outcomes and long-term value.
At iCSI, certifications are intentionally woven into the curriculum so students are prepared through hands-on learning, guided instruction, and focused test preparation.
Preparation and Support
Certification success is supported through:
- Integrated coursework aligned to exam objectives
- Practice exams and review sessions
- Instructor guidance and targeted test preparation
Students are not expected to prepare alone — certification readiness is a supported, structured process.
Certifications Students May Earn
Depending on pathway and progression, students may work toward certifications such as:
CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+)
Builds foundational understanding of IT concepts, systems, and troubleshooting.
CompTIA Network+
Focuses on networking concepts, infrastructure, and real-world problem solving.
CompTIA Security+
Introduces cybersecurity principles, risk management, and defensive strategies.
Advanced certifications may be available as students specialize and deepen their skills.
